SIX FEET

Cinemavixion Review

In 'Six Feet,' director duo Rajendra Thakurathi and Stephen James Thomas craft a chillingly relevant psychological thriller set against the backdrop of a global pandemic. The film centers on a lone motel attendant whose struggles with anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder are amplified by the arrival of quarantined guests. The narrative expertly escalates tension and paranoia, creating a claustrophobic atmosphere that mirrors the protagonist's internal turmoil. While the IMDb rating of 4.7/10 suggests a mixed reception, the film's timely themes and its exploration of isolation and mental health in a crisis warrant attention. Aly Mawji delivers a compelling performance as the beleaguered attendant, anchoring the film's descent into unease. 'Six Feet' is a thought-provoking piece that resonates with contemporary anxieties, offering a stark look at the human psyche under duress.
