Ralph Staub's "Sitting on the Moon" (1936) offers a charming, albeit predictable, romantic entanglement set against the backdrop of the music industry. The plot, loosely based on William Field's short story "Temperamental Lady," takes a turn when a blackmailer attempts to disrupt the budding romances. Roger Pryor and Grace Bradley lead the cast as the central couple, their chemistry forming the emotional core of the narrative.
