SISTERS OF THE PLAGUE

Cinemavixion Review

Jorge Torres-Torres's "Sisters of the Plague" plunges viewers into a chilling narrative centered on a haunted house tour guide who senses a malevolent presence. Her quest for answers leads her to a medium, who delivers a dire warning: the entity she confronts is a vengeful power far beyond her capacity to control. This 2015 independent horror film, featuring performances by Isolde Chae-Lawrence, Josephine Decker, and Eva Dorrepaal, masterfully builds an atmosphere of dread, exploring themes of supernatural confrontation and helplessness. While the film's IMDb rating suggests a polarizing reception, its focused execution on suspense and psychological horror makes it a compelling watch for genre aficionados seeking an unnerving experience.
