SISTERS GRIMM

Cinemavixion Review

"Sisters Grimm" plunges viewers into a world where ancestral secrets and nocturnal disturbances collide. Director Robbie Moffat crafts a narrative that, while perhaps not reaching blockbuster status, offers a charmingly peculiar adventure. The performances by Suzanne Kendall and Charlotte Radford as the titular sisters are central to the film's appeal, embodying a spirit of curiosity that drives the plot forward. Nick Bartlett also provides solid support in this tale of a return to roots that unearths more than just family history. Set against the backdrop of a seemingly quiet village, the film effectively builds an atmosphere of gentle mystery. "Sisters Grimm" is a testament to inventive storytelling, inviting audiences to explore the unexpected happenings within a familiar, yet suddenly transformed, ancestral home. It's a viewing experience that rewards those who appreciate a touch of the uncanny woven into a character-driven story.
