SISTER KRAMPUS

Cinemavixion Review

Anthony and Mark Polonia's "Sister Krampus" plunges viewers into a chilling Yuletide nightmare, weaving a tale of familial dread and ancient evil. Set against the backdrop of a festive European holiday, the film follows two sisters who unwittingly stumble into the terrifying domain of the titular Sister Krampus, a monstrous entity described as the bride to a holiday deity. The narrative, enriched by details from external sources, suggests a plot rooted in a dark wartime past, where a horrific act against a nun birthed the vengeful spirit. This origin story adds a layer of historical grimness to the present-day terror faced by the protagonists. While the film may not boast widespread critical acclaim, its commitment to a unique horror premise, blending elements of folklore with creature feature suspense, makes it a noteworthy entry for aficionados of the genre. The Polonia brothers' effort aims to deliver a distinctive horror experience, offering a twisted take on holiday traditions that promises to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
