SIGHTINGS

Cinemavixion Review

This sci-fi mystery, "Sightings," delves into the strained dynamics of a family residing on a Texas ranch, their isolation amplified by a mysterious cryptid lurking in the nearby woods. The film masterfully uses the external threat as a crucible for the family's internal conflicts, forcing them to confront their interpersonal issues if they are to survive. The narrative, driven by a compelling cast including Boo Arnold and Tahlia Morgan, skillfully blends elements of suspense and drama. While the external data suggests a runtime of 88 minutes and a director in Dallas Morgan, the core of the film remains its exploration of how familial bonds, however fractured, can be the ultimate key to overcoming unimaginable terror. "Sightings" offers a thought-provoking look at survival, both from the supernatural and from within.
