SHOCKWAVES

Cinemavixion Review

SHOCKWAVES plunges viewers into a harrowing urban disaster, masterfully orchestrated by director Jack Ayers. This film captures the raw terror and urgency of survival when a catastrophic earthquake shatters a city. The narrative centers on a family's desperate flight through the ruins, a journey fraught with peril as aftershocks threaten to engulf them at every turn. Ayers excels at building suspense, making each crumbling structure and precarious escape feel viscerally real. Led by a committed performance from Sarah T. Cohen, the cast effectively conveys the emotional weight of their predicament. While the external data indicates a modest IMDb rating, the film's strength lies in its relentless pacing and its potent depiction of human resilience against overwhelming natural forces. SHOCKWAVES is a taut, effective thriller that resonates with themes of hope and determination in the face of utter devastation.
