SHILOH 2: SHILOH SEASON

Cinemavixion Review

"Shiloh 2: Shiloh Season" delves into the profound impact of kindness on seemingly unchangeable hearts. This sequel, released in 1999 and helmed by director Sandy Tung, continues the poignant narrative of young Marty Preston and his beloved dog, Shiloh. When the dog's abusive former owner, Judd Travers, re-enters their lives, Marty embarks on a challenging journey to not only protect Shiloh but also to find a flicker of humanity within Judd. The film thoughtfully explores themes of redemption and the healing power of compassion, showcasing strong performances from Zachary Browne as Marty, alongside seasoned actors Scott Wilson and Michael Moriarty. While the film received a respectable 70% on Rotten Tomatoes and garnered 3 wins, its true success lies in its earnest portrayal of overcoming animosity, offering a heartwarming, albeit dramatic, family tale.
