SHERLOCK HOLMES - TERROR BY NIGHT

Cinemavixion Review

Roy William Neill's "Sherlock Holmes - Terror by Night" plunges viewers into a classic whodunit aboard a speeding train. Basil Rathbone embodies the iconic detective with his usual sharp intellect and commanding presence, ably supported by Nigel Bruce as the ever-earnest Dr. Watson. The narrative, centered on the theft of the famed Star of Rhodesia diamond and a subsequent murder, expertly builds suspense. Holmes's pursuit of the elusive Colonel Sebastian Moran, a formidable adversary, provides a thrilling cat-and-mouse game. The confined setting of the train amplifies the tension, making every passenger a potential suspect. This installment offers a satisfying blend of deduction, intrigue, and period atmosphere, a must-see for aficionados of the great detective.
