SHELL GAME

Cinemavixion Review

Glenn Jordan's 1975 film "Shell Game" presents a compelling narrative centered on a convicted con artist's quest for redemption and justice. The film adeptly explores themes of deception and integrity as the protagonist endeavors to expose a charity fund's embezzlement, driven by the overseer's desperate attempts to conceal his gambling debts. John Davidson leads a capable cast, including Tommy Atkins and Robert Sampson, who collectively bring depth to this intricate tale of financial malfeasance and moral reckoning. While external data suggests a modest IMDb rating, the film's tight plotting and exploration of character under pressure offer a thought-provoking viewing experience, making it a noteworthy entry in the crime drama genre of the era.
