SHED

Cinemavixion Review

David Axe's 'SHED' emerges as a compelling, albeit niche, entry into the indie horror landscape. While its premise of skin-stealing monsters might initially suggest a straightforward creature feature, the film delves deeper, exploring the unexpected thematic territory of love amidst visceral terror. The performances from Mike Amason, Chelsea Atherton, and Katerina Barrie anchor the narrative, lending genuine emotion to the fantastical and gruesome elements. Despite its modest production, 'SHED' successfully crafts an atmosphere of dread, punctuated by creative practical effects. It's a testament to low-budget filmmaking that a story so bizarre can resonate on an emotional level, making 'SHED' a noteworthy watch for horror aficionados seeking substance alongside their scares.
