SHE LEFT WHAT AT THE CRIME SCENE? | PRISON GIRLS

Cinemavixion Review

This docuseries plunges into the stark realities of incarceration through the lens of Missy, a 36-year-old awaiting trial for serious offenses including aggravated home invasion and assault. The narrative explores her desperate hope for leniency, citing addiction as a mitigating factor against a potential ten-year sentence. Intriguingly, Missy's personal life is illuminated by her relationship with a significantly older "sugar daddy," who provides crucial financial assistance. The series promises an unvarnished portrayal of the complex interplay between relationships, power dynamics, and the sheer will to survive within the confines of a prison community. It delves into the extraordinary human stories that unfold when individuals are stripped of their freedom, offering a compelling, albeit somber, examination of life behind bars.
