SHATTER

Cinemavixion Review

Chris Schwartz's 2022 thriller "Shatter" plunges viewers into the dark underbelly of a seemingly tranquil small town. The film centers on a local detective, portrayed by Bob Strouse, who finds himself entangled in a series of perplexing and gruesome murders. As the investigation deepens, the detective must confront cryptic clues left by an escaped schizophrenic patient, leading to a revelation that is as disturbing as the crimes themselves. Mercer Bristow delivers a compelling performance as a central figure in the unfolding mystery. While the film has garnered a modest 19% on Rotten Tomatoes, its intricate plot and atmospheric tension offer a captivating, albeit unsettling, viewing experience for fans of psychological thrillers.
