SHARK LAKE

Cinemavixion Review

Dolph Lundgren, a stalwart of the action genre, anchors 'Shark Lake,' a creature feature that delivers on its primal premise. Set in a picturesque resort town, the narrative quickly escalates as a menacing shark transforms the tranquil waters into a hunting ground. Lundgren portrays an ex-con thrust into the unlikely role of protector, facing a relentless aquatic predator. The film, released in 2015 and directed by Jerry Dugan, offers a straightforward, tension-filled experience. While the plot may tread familiar territory, the execution benefits from Lundgren's committed performance and the effective depiction of the escalating threat. 'Shark Lake' provides a satisfying, if unpretentious, dive into the shark attack subgenre, appealing to fans of straightforward action and suspense.
