SHAOLIN DEADLY KICKS

Cinemavixion Review

SHAOLIN DEADLY KICKS plunges viewers into a familiar martial arts milieu, centered on a treasure map divided amongst eight thieves. The premise promises intrigue as they plan to reunite after three years, but the narrative quickly shifts gears, introducing a formidable, kicking cop as the primary obstacle. While the plot's setup hints at betrayal and intricate planning, the true draw lies in the action sequences, showcasing the titular deadly kicks. The film, directed by Wu Ma, features a cast including Tao-Liang Tan, Chun-Erh Lung, and Lieh Lo, who are tasked with delivering the expected high-octane fight choreography. It's a straightforward, action-focused narrative typical of its genre, prioritizing visceral combat over complex character development.
