SHADOWS SIDE

Cinemavixion Review

Silvio Toledo's "Shadows Side" plunges viewers into a chilling psychological thriller, centered on Sophie's descent into a supernatural ordeal within an isolated chalet. The narrative, enriched by a local description that details Sophie's desperate fight for survival against dark forces and a terrifying creature, unfolds as she uncovers an ancestral pact tied to her fiancé, Cal. The external data corroborates the core premise, highlighting Sophie's entrapment in a nightmare during a romantic retreat. While the external IMDb rating stands at a modest 5.2/10, the film's strength lies in its atmospheric tension and Sophie's harrowing journey to confront hidden secrets and an ancient mandala, her only hope. "Shadows Side" is a compelling exploration of sanity tested by the inexplicable, recommended for those who appreciate a slow-burn descent into terror.
