SERENA WAITS

Cinemavixion Review

Hunter Johnson's "Serena Waits" plunges into the dark aftermath of a reckless night, presenting a chilling narrative about the inescapable consequences of violence. The film follows three college athletes whose lives are irrevocably altered after a party ends in tragedy, leaving them haunted by the victim they believed they had left for dead. With a runtime of 80 minutes, this United States production, released in 2018, explores themes of guilt and retribution through a horror lens. While the film garnered a 4.5/10 rating on IMDb, its strength lies in its taut exploration of moral ambiguity and the psychological toll of desperate actions. "Serena Waits" offers a suspenseful dive into the darkness that can fester when youthful indiscretion collides with horrific reality.
