SENSITIVE MATTER

Cinemavixion Review

In "SENSITIVE MATTER", the year is 1962, and Tatyana arrives in Moscow with dreams of conquering the fashion world. Her aspirations to enter the textile institute are thwarted not by a lack of talent, but by the shadow of her father's tragic past. Yet, fate intervenes, leading her to a position in the exclusive "Hundredth Aisle" of the Stolitsa department store, a place catering to the Soviet elite. This unexpected turn offers Tatyana a clandestine opportunity to pursue her ultimate ambition: becoming a celebrated artist and capturing the attention of the Parisian fashion capital. However, her path to professional glory is unexpectedly obstructed by Volodya, a young man from a prominent family. Their burgeoning romance faces a critical test when Volodya's intended bride enters the complex emotional landscape, setting the stage for a compelling narrative of love, ambition, and societal constraints.
