Cinemavixion Review

This documentary plunges viewers into the deceptive tranquility of Plympton, Devon, where the seemingly idyllic life of Audrey and Eric Hingston is shattered by a brutal crime. What initially appears to be a tragic home invasion, resulting in Eric's death and Audrey's tearful pleas for justice, gradually unravels into a complex investigation. The film meticulously details the police's efforts, highlighting the significant resources poured into tracking down suspects based on Audrey's vivid descriptions. However, the narrative takes a sharp turn as inconsistencies emerge, leading to a re-evaluation of the crime scene and the events that transpired. The eventual revelation challenges the initial perception of the crime, exposing a darker reality hidden beneath the surface of suburban peace. This compelling true crime story questions trust and perception, leaving the audience to ponder the true nature of the events and the motivations behind them.
