SEE THE SEA

Cinemavixion Review

"See the Sea" plunges viewers into a world steeped in maritime mystery and familial duty. The narrative follows Wu Qin, burdened by a family curse that tragically cost him his lover, Su Ruoshui. His departure from the "sea-hunting army," the world's largest salvage organization, to run a hot pot restaurant underscores his internal conflict and his quiet pursuit of answers. The reappearance of the legendary "Nanming Wall," a treasure crucial to unraveling the curse, serves as the catalyst for Wu Qin's return to the unforgiving ocean. The film promises a journey where ancient secrets, personal loss, and the allure of a lost treasure converge. With a cast including Jordan Chan, Vanessa Wang, and Patrick Tsui, "See the Sea" navigates themes of fate, redemption, and the enduring power of the past on the present.
