Cinemavixion Review

Aaron L. Williams' "Scandalous" presents a poignant exploration of familial bonds strained by hidden truths. Set against the somber backdrop of a memorial gathering, the film masterfully weaves a narrative of love, loss, and the corrosive nature of secrets. Niesha Bently and Bobbie Johnson deliver compelling performances, anchoring the emotional core of the story as they navigate the complex web of relationships. Glenn Plummer adds a layer of gravitas, portraying the weight of unspoken histories. The film delves into the bittersweet experience of remembrance, where honoring the past unearths present-day betrayals.
