SAVAGE CREATURES (UNCUT)

Cinemavixion Review

Richard Lowry's "Savage Creatures (Uncut)" presents a frenetic blend of horror tropes, pushing the boundaries of B-movie ambition. The narrative plunges into a post-apocalyptic landscape where ancient vampires, surprisingly portrayed by a cast including Greg Travis and Cean Okada, find themselves in a desperate struggle not only for survival against cannibalistic humans but also against an extraterrestrial invasion. This cosmic horror element introduces soul-stealing aliens, transforming the conflict into a chaotic battle for dominance. The film attempts to weave together vampire lore, zombie apocalypse, and alien invasion, creating a unique, albeit convoluted, mythology. While the execution may lean into the raw, unpolished aesthetic often found in independent horror, the sheer audacity of its premise and the relentless pace offer a distinctively wild cinematic experience for those unafraid of its savage heart.
