SAVAGE CREATURES

Cinemavixion Review

Richard Lowry's "Savage Creatures" plunges viewers into a visceral, apocalyptic nightmare where the lines between predator and prey blur with terrifying speed. The film masterfully juxtaposes the primal horror of cannibalism with the cosmic dread of alien invasion, creating a unique blend of B-movie thrills and existential terror. The narrative, centered on two seemingly vulnerable young women who reveal themselves to be ancient vampires, offers a compelling twist, leading to a brutal confrontation that is soon overshadowed by an even greater threat. As soul-stealing extraterrestrials descend, transforming humanity into a ravenous zombie horde, the stage is set for an all-out war for survival. Lowry crafts a relentless descent into chaos, propelled by a grim atmosphere and a commitment to visceral, unsparing horror. "Savage Creatures" is a wild ride that delivers on its promise of blood, guts, and intergalactic mayhem.
