SATURATED FATS

Cinemavixion Review

Gerard Marcó de Mas's "Saturated Fats" plunges into a disturbing exploration of existentialism and sadomasochism, centered around the enigmatic teachings of a former governor, Julio Fechini. His imparted wisdom, known only as "Saturated Fats," becomes the cryptic core of this narrative. The film follows the dominatrix, Greta Cohen, as she disseminates these secrets to two couples ensnared in a twisted, ritualistic retreat. The asado-inspired ceremony serves as a darkly theatrical backdrop for the unraveling of relationships and the confrontation with primal desires. "Saturated Fats" promises a challenging and provocative cinematic experience, delving into the psychological depths of control, submission, and the search for meaning in extreme circumstances.
