SANTA BOOTCAMP

Cinemavixion Review

Melissa Joan Hart's directorial effort, 'Santa Bootcamp,' offers a charming and festive take on the holiday romantic comedy genre. Starring Emily Kinney as Emily, a determined event planner tasked with finding the ideal Santa for a high-stakes Christmas gala, the film unfolds at a unique Santa training camp. Kinney delivers a heartfelt performance, capturing Emily's professional drive and burgeoning romantic interests with sincerity. The supporting cast shines, particularly the legendary Rita Moreno, who brings her signature warmth and wit to her role. While the plot follows familiar beats of the genre, the film's genuine holiday spirit, coupled with a lighthearted script, makes it an enjoyable watch. Its focus on finding inspiration and the true spirit of Christmas resonates, providing a sweet and uplifting experience for viewers seeking seasonal cheer.
