SAINTS 2 AINTS

Cinemavixion Review

"Saints 2 Aints" offers a poignant exploration of love, regret, and the tangled paths of friendship. The narrative centers on Chiffona, a woman caught between a faltering marriage and the lingering embers of a past romance with Orvalle. Her journey is mirrored by her friend Gevia's secretive pursuit of a new love, who ominously turns out to be Orvalle himself. Director Cherrie McRae skillfully navigates the emotional complexities of these relationships, bringing to life a story of second chances and the often-painful consequences of choices made. The performances, particularly those of Harriet Burnette, LaNita Johnson, and Barbara Myles, anchor the film with raw authenticity, capturing the quiet desperation and hope that define the characters' lives. This is a film that invites introspection on the nature of fidelity and the enduring power of first love, making it a compelling watch for those who appreciate character-driven dramas.
