RUNAWAY CHRISTMAS BRIDE

Cinemavixion Review

David DeCoteau's 'Runaway Christmas Bride' offers a familiar yet heartwarming holiday romance, set against the picturesque backdrop of a ski resort. The narrative centers on a bride, portrayed with earnest vulnerability by Cindy Busby, who makes a dramatic exit from her own wedding. Her journey of self-discovery leads her to unexpected romance, skillfully navigating the complexities of past entanglements and future desires. Travis Milne provides a charming counterpoint as the potential new love interest, while Mark Milburn adds a necessary presence as the jilted fiancé. While the plot treads well-worn romantic comedy territory, the film's execution, particularly its focus on the protagonist's empowerment and the festive atmosphere, makes it a cozy watch for the holiday season. The film successfully captures the spirit of second chances and finding happiness when least expected.
