ROY SHAW: THE KILLER BOXER

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary plunges into the brutal world of Roy Shaw, a figure whose life reads like a cautionary tale etched in violence. From audacious armed robberies to the unforgiving arenas of bare-knuckle boxing, Shaw navigated a path defined by a ruthless adherence to his own code. The narrative paints a stark picture of a man who earned the moniker "Pretty Boy" not through aesthetic appeal, but through sheer, unadulterated ferocity. The film explores the trajectory from the grim confines of Broadmoor to a notorious reign as the 'King of the Cobbles,' offering a compelling, albeit grim, look at a life lived on the absolute edge.
