ROUGH STUFF

Cinemavixion Review

This Australian adventure film plunges viewers into the unforgiving vastness of the outback, following a group of "Rovers"—drifters seeking a fresh start and a legendary lost gold. At its core, the narrative weaves together two disparate goals: a treasure hunt for riches and an activist mission to protest a mining operation. The setup promises a dynamic journey, with modified off-road rigs and the allure of discovering hidden fortunes. As the Rovers and activists venture into the treacherous Mamuya Valley, the story hints at rising tensions and concealed agendas. The film aims to deliver thrilling off-road chases and daring rescues, all set against the backdrop of a quest for both material wealth and a cause. It's an exploration of desperation, hope, and the potential for conflict when different objectives collide in an extreme environment.
