ROSE WEST: THE WOMAN WITH A HOUSE OF HORRORS

Cinemavixion Review

Martina Cole delves into the chilling depths of depravity in "Rose West: The Woman With A House Of Horrors." This documentary offers a stark, unflinching examination of Rosemary West, an individual whose name became synonymous with unspeakable evil. Cole, known for her own explorations of the darker side of human nature, guides the viewer through the harrowing timeline of West's crimes, meticulously detailing the collaboration with her husband, Fred West, in the systematic torture and murder of at least ten young women. The narrative also confronts the horrific murder of Charmaine, West's own stepdaughter. The documentary does not shy away from the brutal realities, presenting a disturbing portrait of a serial killer whose actions continue to shock and horrify. It serves as a grim testament to the capacity for cruelty and a compelling, albeit deeply unsettling, study of one of Britain's most notorious criminals.
