ROMANIA TO LONDON: WILL MY LIFE GET BETTER?

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary offers a poignant glimpse into the lives of Romanian immigrants striving for a better future in the UK. Through the personal stories of Mihalia, Alex, and Adi, it unflinchingly portrays the harsh realities faced by those seeking opportunity abroad. Mihalia's hope for her family contrasts sharply with Alex's struggle for basic necessities in London, while Adi's years of sleeping rough highlight the immense sacrifices made. The film effectively contrasts the dream of a better life with the often-difficult circumstances encountered, prompting reflection on immigration, economic hardship, and the resilience of the human spirit. It serves as a powerful, albeit sobering, look at the motivations and challenges behind the Romanian diaspora.
