Leopoldo Savona's "Rojo" plunges viewers into the harsh landscape of the American West, though its Italian origins lend a distinct flavor to the genre. The narrative centers on a brutal massacre and the subsequent rise of a town built on dubious foundations. Years later, the sole survivor, known as El Rojo, returns not just for vengeance, but to unearth the buried truths. Richard Harrison embodies the vengeful protagonist with a stoic intensity, supported by a capable cast including Nieves Navarro and Piero Lulli.
