ROCKOONS - TO SPEAK & TO BE SILENT

Cinemavixion Review

This whimsical short film, 'ROCKOONS - TO SPEAK & TO BE SILENT,' explores the playful dynamics between sound and silence through a cast of charming characters. The narrative centers on Faf's invention, a loudspeaker, which becomes the focal point for Soh and Lala's desire to vocalize. Their ensuing argument leads Faf to propose a game of silence, a challenge that quickly captivates Mimi, Re, Ti, and Notey. The film cleverly pivots as Soh and Lala opt for charades, adding another layer of interactive fun. The tension of the silence game is broken when Ti's shout into a megaphone startles Soh and Lala, signaling their return to speech. The story concludes on a lighthearted note, celebrating the joy of conversation after a period of quiet contemplation. It's a delightful exploration of communication and the simple pleasures of sound, perfect for a young audience.
