ROBIN OF LOCKSLEY

Cinemavixion Review

This modern retelling of the Robin Hood legend, "Robin of Locksley," offers a compelling twist on the classic tale, set against the backdrop of an exclusive boarding school. The narrative intelligently explores themes of justice and morality as a teenage protagonist, driven by a sense of righteous indignation, resorts to illicit means to aid a fellow student in dire need. Director Michael Kennedy crafts a story that, while perhaps more suited for a younger audience, resonates with its core message about doing the wrong thing for the right reason. Devon Sawa leads a capable cast in this engaging adventure that updates Sherwood Forest for a contemporary setting, proving that the spirit of Robin Hood can thrive in any era.
