RIGAMORTIS: A ZOMBIE LOVE STORY

Cinemavixion Review

In "Rigamortis: A Zombie Love Story," directors Ted Campbell and Dave Dewes deliver a surprisingly tender narrative set against the grim backdrop of a post-zombie apocalypse. Released in 2011, this short film, starring Maxwell Glick, Deacon Ledges, and Lisa Musser, posits a world where humanity has quelled an undead uprising, leaving only two zombies to navigate their existence. Their quest for sanctuary unexpectedly blossoms into a tale of love, challenging the conventional zombie genre with a focus on connection rather than carnage. The film's IMDb rating of 8.2, bolstered by a single win, suggests a positive reception, likely for its unique premise and emotional depth. "Rigamortis" offers a poignant exploration of love and companionship in the most unlikely of circumstances, proving that even in a world overrun by the undead, the pursuit of connection can prevail.
