RIDE SCARE

Cinemavixion Review

"Ride Scare" plunges viewers into the dark underbelly of urban life, presenting a chilling narrative of a rideshare driver whose mundane profession masks a psychopathic disposition. The film masterfully builds suspense as Tommy, portrayed with unsettling calm, navigates the city streets, each passenger a potential target. The tension escalates dramatically with the introduction of Jolene, a woman who inadvertently becomes the focus of Tommy's obsessive fixation. Her subsequent struggle for survival within the confines of a desolate tech building transforms the film into a harrowing fight for life. Director Eduardo Castrillo crafts a claustrophobic and intense thriller, keeping audiences on the edge of their seats as Jolene desperately seeks an escape from her predatory captor. This is a taut, character-driven horror that explores the terrifying proximity of danger in everyday life.
