REVOLUTION 1917

Cinemavixion Review

In "Revolution 1917", director Yuriy Vasilev crafts a poignant narrative set against the tumultuous backdrop of the Russian Revolution. The film centers on the enduring love story of Vera and Aleksander, whose romance unfolds amidst the final days of Tsarist rule, only to be tragically interrupted by the ensuing war and societal upheaval. The story then shifts to Paris, where a descendant, also named Aleksander, grapples with echoes of a past love, raising questions about fate and the timeless nature of affection. Starring Dima Bilan, Svetlana Ivanova, and Aleksandr Baluev, the film explores themes of love, loss, and the indelible mark of history on personal lives.
