REVOLT OF THE DRAGON

Cinemavixion Review

Fei-Chien Wu's "Revolt of the Dragon" plunges viewers into the harrowing aftermath of World War II, where the scars of conflict manifest as brutal oppression. The narrative centers on a group of Japanese ex-prisoners who seize control of a Chinese lumberyard, imposing a reign of terror. The arrival of a skilled martial artist, portrayed with steely resolve, ignites a desperate fight for liberation. This film masterfully intertwines visceral, high-octane combat sequences with a resonant theme of resistance against overwhelming odds. The hero's journey, fueled by unmatched martial arts prowess, becomes a powerful symbol of defiance, offering a gripping tale of courage and the unyielding human spirit in the face of tyranny.
