RETARDEAD

Cinemavixion Review

"Retardead" emerges as a peculiar entry into the horror-comedy landscape, driven by the chilling premise of Dr. Stern's malevolent intelligence serum. The film plunges viewers into the unsettling environment of the Butte County Institute for Special Education, where the serum's horrific consequences unfold with gruesome intent. While the OMDb data points to a 2008 release and directorial efforts from Rick Popko and Dan West, the core narrative, as detailed in the local description, promises a descent into mad science and its ghastly outcomes. The film's blend of dark humor and splatter elements, suggested by its genre classification, invites audiences to a campy yet terrifying exploration of intellect gone awry. This is a film for those who appreciate a niche, B-movie sensibility where the line between genius and monstrosity is blurred with a syringe.
