RESONANCE

Cinemavixion Review

Siar Sedig's "Resonance" plunges viewers into an unsettling atmospheric thriller, exploring the psychological and physical toll of the unknown. The film masterfully builds tension as a young couple's remote getaway is disrupted by mysterious, disorienting sounds emanating from the woods. Max Croes and Nastassia Firestone deliver compelling performances, portraying the escalating dread and desperation as the phenomena begins to affect them profoundly. While the narrative treads familiar territory of isolation and encroaching horror, Sedig's direction imbues the story with a palpable sense of unease. The film's commitment to its core concept, coupled with its compact runtime, makes for a tight and impactful viewing experience that lingers long after the credits roll, inviting contemplation on the unseen forces that can disrupt our lives.
