RED POINT

Cinemavixion Review

Nicanor Loreti's 'Red Point' plunges viewers into a disorienting neo-noir narrative that begins with a jarring incident. Diego, a seemingly ordinary fan of a football club, finds his life irrevocably altered when a dead body lands on his windshield, seemingly out of nowhere. This bizarre event serves as the catalyst for a descent into a shadowy world, as a mysterious secret agent appears, demanding answers about the deceased man now occupying Diego's trunk. The film masterfully crafts an atmosphere of suspense and paranoia, blurring the lines between reality and conspiracy. With a compact runtime and a palpable sense of unease, 'Red Point' offers a taut thriller that keeps audiences guessing until its final moments. The performances, particularly from the central cast, lend a grounded intensity to the increasingly surreal circumstances, making this an engaging watch for fans of Argentinian genre cinema.
