REBENIZA - L'OMBRA DEL MAESTRO

Cinemavixion Review

In "Rebeniza - L'ombra del Maestro," director Leonardo Bonetti crafts a compelling mystery that delves into the artistic and personal legacy of a vanished mentor. The film, released in 2021, follows Rebeniza as they strive to complete a documentary initiated by their disappeared teacher. As Rebeniza immerses themselves in the project, the enigmatic truth surrounding their master's fate gradually unravels, much like a self-assembling mosaic. Starring Simone Faucci, Elisa Zanotto, and Chiara Bonetti, the narrative promises a slow-burn revelation, inviting viewers to piece together the fragments of a complex past alongside the protagonist. Bonetti's approach suggests a thoughtful exploration of artistic succession and the enduring impact of influential figures, even in their absence.
