RE-ELECTED

Cinemavixion Review

Max Radbill's "Re-Elected" plunges into a uniquely American nightmare, set against the backdrop of a sweltering 4th of July. This horror-comedy posits a chilling scenario: what if the nation's founding fathers, or rather, its presidents, rose from the dead as zombies? But the true terror, as the film cleverly suggests, might just be the forced proximity of siblings Nate and Angela, trapped together amidst the undead chaos. The premise is as audacious as it is darkly humorous, promising a blend of B-movie thrills and familial dysfunction. While specific critical reception and box office data remain elusive, the film's inventive concept and directorial vision, helmed by Radbill, offer a potentially memorable, albeit niche, cinematic experience for those seeking a genre mashup with a distinctly patriotic, albeit twisted, flavor.
