RATTLERS: SNAKE ATTACK

Cinemavixion Review

John McCauley's 1976 film, "Rattlers: Snake Attack," plunges viewers into a chilling desert landscape where nature's primal fear is amplified by human negligence. The narrative centers on a dedicated herpetologist, portrayed with earnest intensity by Sam Chew Jr., who finds himself embroiled in a terrifying mystery. As a series of fatal rattlesnake attacks escalates, the investigation uncovers a sinister truth: the venomous creatures have been driven to unnatural aggression by a mysterious nerve gas, a toxic byproduct of military disposal. Elisabeth Chauvet and Dan Priest offer solid support as the situation grows increasingly dire. The film masterfully blends elements of creature feature horror with a cautionary tale about environmental irresponsibility, creating a suspenseful and thought-provoking experience that resonates long after the credits roll.
