RATMAGEDDON: INSIDE NEW YORK'S HIDDEN RAT WORLD

Cinemavixion Review

Beneath the bustling metropolis of New York City lies a hidden world, a sprawling, subterranean ecosystem dominated by an astonishing two million Norway Brown Rats. This documentary, 'Ratmageddon: Inside New York's Hidden Rat World,' plunges viewers into the relentless, ongoing war waged against these remarkably adaptable creatures. Exterminators, scientists, and even determined terrier dog hunters are locked in an endless battle with an urban survivor that has evolved into a genetically distinct and territorially aggressive population. The film offers a comprehensive look at this apex pest, exploring why these modern-day urban survivors continue to elude every human attempt at eradication, challenging our notions of control and coexistence in the urban jungle.
