RAG DOLL

Cinemavixion Review

Embark on a visceral journey with 'Rag Doll,' a film that plunges into the brutal world of MMA to explore themes of systemic violence and personal redemption. Directed by Bailey Kobe, the narrative centers on Nora Phoenix, portrayed with compelling grit, as she enters a high-stakes tournament not just for glory, but for the survival of her mother. The film masterfully blends the raw intensity of the fight sequences with Nora's internal struggle, questioning whether the true battles are fought within the ring or in the complexities of life outside it. Praised with 19 wins and 7 nominations, 'Rag Doll' offers a potent mix of action and drama, examining the courage it takes to confront overwhelming odds and fight for a better future. This is a story that resonates long after the credits roll, highlighting the resilience of the human spirit against adversity.
