RAG DOLL

Cinemavixion Review

Nora Phoenix's journey in 'Rag Doll' is a gritty exploration of resilience against a backdrop of systemic violence. The film, directed by Bailey Kobe, plunges into the high-stakes world of MMA as Nora seeks to alter her destiny and secure her mother's future. While the premise promises a compelling narrative of triumph, the film also delves into the psychological battles that extend beyond the octagon. Starring Shannon Murray, Stephanie Erb, and Dot-Marie Jones, 'Rag Doll' attempts to balance intense action with a deeper commentary on fighting not just for survival, but for self-preservation. With 19 wins and 7 nominations to its name, the film has garnered attention for its thematic depth, even if its execution may spark debate among audiences.
