RADAR MEN FROM THE MOON

Cinemavixion Review

Fred C. Brannon's "Radar Men from the Moon" delivers a thrilling slice of 1950s science fiction adventure, a serial that captivated audiences with its blend of pulp sensibilities and Cold War paranoia. The narrative centers on the enigmatic Commando Cody, a heroic scientist equipped with a remarkable flying suit, tasked with defending Earth from a lunar menace. The plot, while characteristic of its era, is propelled by a relentless pace and a sense of escalating stakes. George D. Wallace embodies the intrepid Cody with a fitting blend of bravery and ingenuity, supported by a capable cast. Although perhaps dated by modern standards, the film remains a charming testament to early cinematic visions of space exploration and extraterrestrial threats, offering a nostalgic glimpse into the B-movie landscape of its time.
