QUIET, PRETTY THINGS

Cinemavixion Review

Derek Stockton's "Quiet, Pretty Things" plunges viewers into a seemingly tranquil small town, a facade quickly shattered by a series of unsettling murders. The film masterfully builds suspense as a local detective, portrayed with grounded intensity by Damon Addison, navigates the escalating mystery. A critical error in his investigation inadvertently shifts the killer's malevolent attention towards him, transforming the pursuit into a desperate fight for survival. Stockton crafts a taut narrative, weaving a compelling thriller that explores the fragility of peace and the dark undercurrents that can lie beneath ordinary life. The performances from Casey Bales and Morgan Bowman add further depth to this atmospheric mystery, making "Quiet, Pretty Things" a gripping watch for fans of the genre.
