QUID GAMES

Cinemavixion Review

This tense thriller plunges viewers into a desperate struggle for survival, reminiscent of 'Squid Game' and 'Battle Royale.' The narrative centers on seven students thrust into a deadly competition of children's games, where their pasts and deceptions unravel under immense pressure. Director Evan Baker crafts a claustrophobic atmosphere, amplified by the stark premise that forces young protagonists to confront their darkest secrets. While the film grapples with themes of morality and consequence, the ultimate choice faced by the survivor offers a compelling, albeit grim, conclusion. The performances effectively convey the escalating fear and desperation, making for a visceral viewing experience that questions the lengths to which individuals will go when pushed to their absolute limit.
